Erin Fairbanks, B.Sc., D.Ch
Originally from Iroquois Falls, Ontario, Erin attended the University of Guelph and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours - Human Kinetics) in 1998. After her graduation she completed her education at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences where she obtained her Diploma of Chiropody in 2001.
Erin is a Chiropodist (pronounced ker rah po dist). A Chiropodist is a foot specialist who is trained in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of medical conditions of the feet. Erin is the owner and operator of the Advanced Foot &
Orthotic Clinic; the first and only full time Chiropody clinic in the Southern Georgian Bay area. The clinic was first located on King Street in Midland for over ten years. In July 2014 Erin had the great pleasure of opening the doors at her new location of 263 Midland Ave right in the beautiful downtown core of Midland.
A typical day will find Erin performing nail care and callus removal, prescribing and dispensing orthotics, providing
diabetic foot care and performing nail procedures to remove ingrown toenails. Her main goal is to provide the highest
quality foot care and foot education to the Southern Georgian Bay area.
Settling in this area was always the goal of the Fairbanks family. Erin and her husband Mike moved to the area in
2002 anticipating a long and prosperous relationship with the community. Since their arrival in 2002, Erin and Mike
have two beautiful children, Ethan and Lindsay. They are all excited about the opportunities and friendships to come.
Josie Lambert - Personal Assistant
Kirkland Lake, Port Hope and Iroquois Falls are some of the places, Josie and her husband Claude have called home prior to moving to Victoria Harbour. They both worked in the pulp and paper industry, in quality assurance, for many years. While working, Josie earned several university credits as well as a college Business Administration diploma.
Josie's work experience together with her education serves her well as Erin's Personal Assistant and Supply
Claude and Josie would say that their biggest success is having raised two beautiful, intelligent and caring daughters. As time goes on, they have enjoyed the best reward...three of the most adorable grandchildren. In her spare time Josie likes reading and her book club, cake decorating and passing onto her grandchildren some Slovenian traditions. Life is good!!!
Lisa Monette - Receptionist
Born in Toronto, Lisa moved to Eugenia Ontario when she was 9 years old and stayed there until she graduated from Grey Highlands Secondary School. From there Lisa attended the University of Waterloo where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) in 1988. Her work brought her back to Toronto where she resided for many years before moving to the Midland area in 2011.
Lisa's position with the Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic is that of Receptionist. She greets all of our patients with a warm smile and is there is assist them with booking their follow up appointments. She takes pride in making sure our patients are completely happy with our service. "It has been my distinct pleasure to speak with our patients on a daily basis."
As Lisa is new to the Midland area, many of her off hours are spent hiking and exploring the trails in Tiny Township with her husband David. If the weather has driven her inside you will most likely find Lisa curled up in front of the fireplace indulging in her great passion for reading. "I look forward to being with the Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic for many years to come."
Jennifer was born and raised in Penetang Ontario, where she graduated from Penetanguishene Secondary School in 1999. From high school she went on to attend Georgian College where she earned her diploma in Hotel and Resort Administration in 2001. Once she received her degree Jennifer has worked all over the world to locations such as the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Alberta, Delta Prince Edward in PEI and England.
Jennifer's role at the clinic is as Erin's Footwear assistant. Each day she works side by side with Erin helping our patients find comfort and support in their orthotic devices and helping them find that perfect pair of shoes! She is very excited to be working with Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic and is proud to be working with a team of such lovely
During her off hours Jen likes to spend as much time as she can with her two boys. They love to spend time together
outside and participating in the many of the community events here in Midland. "I look forward to many years with

Born and raised in Brampton, Sherri graduated from Brampton Centennial in 1989. Following her high school
graduation she attended Humber College. In 2006 she decided to move to Midland with her son. Sherri's family has been visiting the Midland area since she was young, as they have a cottage in the area.
Sherri's role at the clinic is that of Phone Coordinator. She helps to coordinate all of our patient's appointments, assist with answering their questions and doing her best to meet their needs. "I have the pleasure of talking to so many of our patients every day and helping them have happy feet!"
During her spare time Sherri volunteers with the Midland Lacrosse Association and has been doing so for the past 7
years! She is currently in the midst of her 1st year as Club President. When Sherri's is not organizing lacrosse she has
had the pleasure of watching her son pursue his dream of becoming part of the National Lacrosse League.
Meet Darcie, a welcome addition to our Clinical Assistant Team!! Darcie brings to our team a world of experience and adventure in a wide variety of fields. She has been sky diving in Australia, bungee jumping in New Zealand and rock climbing in Thailand. While exploring the world she has been able to try her hand at many different opportunities including customer service, carpenter's assistant and grocery Students learn how to care for the elderly store clerk. Prior to coming to join us here at the clinic Darice worked in and around the Penetang area as a gardener and landscaper.
As a member of our Clinical Assistant team, Darice greets our patients prior to their appointments and assists in getting them settled and comfortable. After being seen by our Chiropodists, Darcie returns to assist our patients back to the reception area where they are able to complete their appointments.
Outside of working at the clinic, Darcie is busy running after her adorable daughter and during the warmer months she still likes to get her hands dirty working out in her garden.
Erin moved to the Midland area in 2006 where she attended St. Theresa's High School and graduated in 2009. Erin has worked at several different locations in Midland as a cashier or a waitress, always enjoying getting to know a new customer. Erin now lives in Waubaushene with her boyfriend Christopher, daughter Kendall and Mocha--their German Shepherd.
Erin's role on our clinic's team, is to work alongside the Chiropodist as her Chairside Assistant. Some of Erin's responsibilities at the clinic include patient triage, charting and post op care. As the Chiropodist's assistant, Erin is trained in a variety of patient care including wound dressing and surgical assistance.
When Erin is not working at the clinic, she enjoys being outside with her family playing, camping, hiking or out on the water sailing.
